Windows Of Memories - A Final Farewell
Just before going into battle, Lt. Adnan sent his family back to Kajang. It was a difficult journey with his wife pregnant with their third child.

"I was only four. I did not realize that it would be the last time I would see my father. My brother and I kissed our father's hand before he left us. He did not say much. He merely told us to take care of ourselves and not be naughty."

" .. I could see that my mother was very sad. She did not say anything... she was a person who never burdened us with her problems."

" . a few days later, my mother delivered her third child, a girl, but the baby died before she was two months old and I cannot remember her name."
Mokhtar Adnan
Eldest son of Lt. Adnan Saidi
From an interview on 3rd November 2001 commissioned for this Centre
