Bukit Chandu Theatre - Sounds Of Battle

Empathise with the movement ...
as you relive the Battle of Pasir Panjang through Binaural Sound Presentation*. Experience how the Malay Regiment soldiers led by Lt. Adnan Saidi fought to the last and stood their ground. Experience the "Sounds of Battle." Feel the same impenetrable darkness that engulfed the soldiers. Feel the thunder of gunfire from machine guns. Feel the impact of being shot. Feel the desperation ...

* Binaural Sound Effect - A life-like quality audio effect that utilises multiple perspective recording in stereo-format. Unlike typical stereo sound, the recorded audio perspectives are not mixed; as such, binaural sound imitates exactly the audio reception of the human ears. Recording is done via two tiny omni-directional microphones at the entrance of the ear-canals on an artificial head. Equipped with a pair of ear-phones and surrounded by low-frequency speakers, audiences will experience the same directional, distance and intensity as real-time hearing. It is good as being there during the event and actually hearing the sounds.
