Start point: Kent
Ridge Park /
End point: RBC
The trail kicked off with a one-hour nature walk
around Kent Ridge Park. Participants were introduced
to a variety of plants such as pitcher plants and
rubber trees, that are part of a special ecosystem
that begins at Clementi Woods and ends at Mount Faber.
They also glimpsed into the adventures of Pasir Panjang
residents in the 1960s, found out about the beautiful
seashore that used to exist and spotted pre-war buildings.
The Trail ended with a guided tour of RBC.
This activity was held in conjunction with the Singapore
HeritageFest '04 and co-organised by Raffles Museum
of Biodiversity Research (RMBR).
